Announcing: CI2510 and FI2510 End Suction Pump Design Upgrade
Taco is pleased to announce that FI and CI End Suction Pumps will soon be getting a new design upgrade. These pump lines have undergone extensive scrutiny to identify opportunities for enhanced performance and efficiency, in keeping with our overall company focus on saving resources, energy and the environment.

Beginning with the CI2510 and FI2510 models, the new design will be distinguished mostly by its lean, ribbed casing design. The 2510 models will also feature an increase in pump efficiency with resulting decrease in horsepower and energy consumption. Also, as requested by our customers, the footprint (length x width) of the FI pump base has been decreased to allow better mechanical room fit. Please note that the new 2510 models will keep the same casing (volute) dimensions and height of suction flange off the floor.
We plan to release the FI2510C and CI2510C models on April 2 at the same pricing and lead time as existing models. The "C" designation will be used for each newly designed model as we introduce them in stages. The next models to appear after the 2510C are the 2509C and the 4011C, which are targeted for introduction sometime in May. As we transition to the new design, all literature will be updated, including curves, data sheets (2510 data sheets attached below), and replacement parts sheets. We will continue to offer parts for the existing designs.
On April 2, orders for the CI and FI 2510 pumps will be coded with the new "C" design model number (last letter of serial number). At that time, we will no longer manufacture the existing design.
